Ging nodded, taking in her words. He had a feeling that there was more to this story than they had uncovered so far, but for now, they needed to focus on their next steps. They would need to gather more information about these teleportation stones and the stone creatures that Navi had described in order to better understand the supernatural forces that they were up against.
As they wrapped up their debrief,
The Hunter Organization arrived on the island after several hours of waiting in the makeshift camp to pick up Navi, Axel, Azer, Ekail, and the body of their Ely.The team was relieved to see the airship touch down in the clearing, the sound of its engines drowning out the noise of nature on the island.
The organization's representatives disembarked from the airship and greeted Ging and his team. They quickly got to work, loading up the equipment and supplies that they had brought with them.
As they were getting ready to depart, Ging stepped forward and addressed the representatives of the Hunter Organization.
"I just want to make sure that the terms of their agreement will be honored," he said, his voice firm. "Some of them were not hunters but did more than many hunters would do in this mission. If something, anything, or anybody creates a problem for them for the land prize, tell them that they will have to deal with me."
As a member of Zodiacs, which is only below Chairman Netore and Vice Chairman Pariston, the authority of Ging almost surpasses all other people in the workforce of the Hunter Organization.
His words carried weight, not to mention the people in the Hunter Organization knew about Ging and how nasty he could be if he wanted.
The people from hunter organizations nodded, their expressions serious. "Don't worry, Mr. Ging," one of them said and quickly left the area.
Ging gave a small smile, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders.
He signed the necessary paperwork and watched as the Hunter Organization lifted off the ground with the airship, which had the logo of the Hunter Organization, and disappeared into the clouds. As he turned to leave,
Axel, Ekail, Navi, and Azer found themselves in the same room on the airship, each lost in their own thoughts. The sound of the engines and the hum of the airship filled the air, making conversation difficult.
To break the silence, one of the airship workers brought them each a cold drink, which they gratefully accepted. The drinks were refreshing, and the coolness helped to calm their nerves after the harrowing experience they had just been through.
But despite the comfort of the drinks, the atmosphere in the room remained heavy. None of them had any desire to speak; each was lost in their own thoughts and emotions.
Axel stared blankly ahead, trying to process everything that happened on the island.
"In the end, I was still lacking when it came to combat."
"I need to be stronger in the future."
"At least, I can say that I have experience with exploring and finding ruins."
At that time, Axel remembered the date and smiled.
"About one week later, the exam Killua entered will be commencing. I guess I can join it and become a hunter with ease."
Ekail fidgeted nervously in his seat, his mind racing with questions about the teleportation stone and the stone creatures they had encountered. He wanted to know more, to understand what they were up against, but he had no idea who to ask.
