As both moves were being used, Protect shown more predominately since it was the first move to be casted. That's why it was so hard to see that Vioarr had also casted an Endure during the same time! With the irrefutable facts, Olivia could only grudgingly accept her defeat.
As the results were finalized, Jax ran towards his little brother not caring about whether he won or lost. To him, Jax cared more about the state of his brother than the results of an insignificant school competition. "Vioarr! Are you okay!? Are you hurt anywhere!? If you're hurt anywhere, just tell me! I'll go bring you the corpse of the green alien!"
"Ugh. Your yelling is hurting my ears more than that big head ever could! Shut up!" Shocked that his little brother chastised him instead of wanting him to seek revenge, Jax stared dumbfoundedly at the pokemon he watched hatch from an egg.
With their battle over with, it was time to resume the next match, Ally versus Evelyn! The classes number one beauty versus the number one cool elitist! All the boys were excited to watch this match and ran up towards the stage to get a better view. Some of the boys even started betting on who would come out as the semifinalist. From the results, ten boys voted for Ally while the other 10 voted for Evelyn! A clear tie! Hearing her name being chanted, little Ally shyly walked up to take her place on the field followed by the cool pink haired beauty.
"Ready, set…BATTLE!" With the referee's permission, the battle for the second semifinalist was finally under way!
"Mewton, use Agility!"
"Growl, Froggie."
As the two girls issued their first command, Jax took his place at his usual spot on the bench. In his mind, he had no doubt that Mewton and Ally would come out as the victor. It wasn't like he saw the stats of both pokemons, no, Jax just had unconditional trust in his soon-to-be-girlfriend. But, maybe he should have looked at their stats, because it he did, Jax would see that his girlfriend? was in deep, deep, super deep, trouble. Jax looked at Mewton's stats once before and knew that he was a powerhouse just waiting to grow up, but he never looked at Evelyn's Frogadier before. A royal pokemon was a royal one for a reason. Seeing that Ally was struggling to keep up the momentum even with Mewton being faster than Froggie, Jax finally realized that he should see why the disparity was so lopsided.

Jax was shocked at how much Mewton had grown. Not only did it have three moves at the MAX level, on par with Vioarr, the extremely hard to train move, Extreme Speed, was already at level 4! Seeing that Mewton learned some new moves too, Jax knew that Ally was serious about being a trainer.
Take note, even if these students attended a rich and famous school, with so many students, the school couldn't provide everything for them. A lot of the times, the school only provided limited resources while the trainees would have to go out and find their own. Fire Spin and Dragon Tail weren't cheap TMs at all, especially Dragon Tail! Any TMs that was dragon-type cost astronomically more than TMs of moves that did even more damage than them.
Finding no issues with what he was seeing so far, Jax spread his psychic abilities towards the Evelyn's Frogadier, Froggie and was left with his mouth hung open. The stats that he saw was no less from ludicrous! 'HOW!? IS IT BECAUSE IT'S A ROYAL POKEMON!?'
