Wind whips around them and drives the rain into their faces as they stagger towards the safety of the Land Rover. David is bleeding badly from his torn right arm and the pain lances through him, Adele and Peggy support him as the vehicles loom out of the darkness. They hear the shriek of the demon behind them, and the mad laughter of a man that has just gone over the edge, driven there by his desire for vengeance.

Piet climbs into the cab of the vehicle, turns the key and all he gets is a click. He desperately tries again with the same result, climbing out he hands his rifle to Veronica and opens the hood. Only to find that the engine has been destroyed and that they would not be going anywhere on wheels.

/"Fuck it, the bastard has made sure that we stay where we are, Veronica come, girl, think! We are in deep shit right now and that bloody thing is coming our way./"
