Escape

How stupid was I?

I'd exposed not only myself but the whole Anderson family. I'd practically told Dominic that he had leverage against Mr. Anderson. I knew he wouldn't hesitate to use anything he had against Michael Anderson, and right now that thing was me. My own stupidity had gotten me in this situation. I had no idea how I was going to get myself out now.

/"Dominic wants to see you. Right now, party's over./" I heard Bryan's sneering voice.

I felt the color drain from my face. Why was I even surprised I'd known this was coming? I felt someone squeeze my arm, it was Rachel. She was looking at me with sympathy. I felt something cold and metal press into my palm, I looked down to see her pressing a small revolver into my hand.

/"To protect yourself./" She explained /"Hide it./" Her voice was urgent.

She's helping me?
