บท 40: Chapter 40: Who's Luca?

The moment that Mykel heard Desmond’s footsteps moving away from him, he went into action. Any hope he had to stop whatever it was that Desmond was trying to do though had come to a screeching halt when his body suddenly seized where it stood. All around him, Mykel felt the warmth of an intense light but just as the appearance of the dark veins seared through his body, this too burned him from the inside out. It lasted until he hadn’t been able to stand it anymore and caused him to collapse.

When at last, Mykel woke up, it was obvious that time had passed since his collapse. However, he had no idea what had happened while he was out. His body was free from its deformities however and his eyesight had been restored. The place he woke up to was a familiar place. No doubt, it was The Echo based on the coloration of the room around him and the lack of human presence. He just didn’t know how he got there.
