"Emilia, I'll give you some time to grieve. Take as long as you need, I'll be by your side unless you want me to leave." Dietrich says in a soothing tone.
"Dietrich…I want to go home…" Emilia says through sobs as she stands up.
Emilia wobbles a bit at first but recovers quickly. She pauses and looks around before realizing they left the car behind at the club. Dietrich signals for her to stay put as he shifts and runs to retrieve the vehicle for her.
An hour later, Dietrich returns and spots Emilia still crying near the burnt remains. He walks up to her slowly and offers her a hand. Emilia looks up and sniffles before putting her arms out to him like a child asking to be carried. Dietrich's heart melts at the sight and he lifts her up, walking his saddened mate back to the truck and placing her in the backseat.
"Are you sure you don't need more time?" Dietrich asks carefully.
