บท 552: I'm afraid [4]

The area filled with containers extended in front of them, forming a dark and sinister metallic maze. The floor was dotted with stains of dried blood, breaking the monotony of the gray and rusty ground. A pungent and unpleasant smell of decay permeated the air, enveloping everything around them in a nauseating mist.

As they advanced among the containers, the faint cries and roars became increasingly audible. They were sounds that evoked desperation and suffering, as if emanating from creatures trapped in ceaseless torment.

The tall and weathered containers lined up in endless rows, creating a claustrophobic labyrinth. The doors of some were slightly ajar, revealing a dark and mysterious interior. Others were completely sealed, giving the feeling of being metallic tombs that harbored macabre secrets.

As they ventured deeper into the container area, the atmosphere became even more oppressive. Light barely managed to filter through the metal cracks, creating an atmosphere of dusk and unsettling shadows. The floor creaked under their feet, reminding them of the precariousness and latent danger in that place.

In that gloomy environment, the cries and roars resonated in their ears, filling them with anguish and a sense of unease. It was as if suffering had permeated every corner of that sinister labyrinth of containers, trapping those inside in an eternal nightmare.

Airon immediately noticed that there were people or, worse, walkers in the containers. It's hard to tell what kind of things have been done in this place, but now the important thing is to know if they are alive or not.

Airon stealthily advanced among the containers, with the child following closely behind. Each step was careful, avoiding making noise and alerting any nearby threat. He held his sharp knife in hand, ready to confront any walker that stood in his way.

The containers lined up like silent guardians, hiding hungry creatures within them. Airon was alert, listening attentively to every sound coming from the shadows. The faint shuffling of feet and the growls of the walkers echoed in the air, indicating their presence.

When a walker approached close enough, Airon moved with lethal precision. With a swift motion, he plunged his knife into the walker's skull, ending its existence. Blood and torn flesh splattered on the floor as the lifeless body collapsed without emitting a sound.

The indifferent but trusting child observed each movement with eyes filled with admiration. Airon moved with determination, protecting the child and ensuring their safety amidst that infernal chaos.

The metallic sound of the containers resonated around them, creating an ominous symphony that seemed to accompany their movements. Airon cautiously advanced, carefully choosing his path between the containers, always alert to any threats that might arise.

The smell of decay filled the air, mixed with the metallic scent of spilled blood. Airon maintained composure, focused on his goal of staying safe and finding a way out of that dark and hostile place.

As they advanced, the child stayed close to Airon, finding in him a protector amidst their progress in the surrounding place. Together, they continued their advance through the containers, skillfully and adeptly eliminating the walkers, hoping to gain a clearer view of their surroundings.

...

As they approached the building at the other end of the containers, the child, with a trembling and uneasy voice, began to explain to Airon about the dangers lurking in that place.

"This place... is terrible." Said the child, their voice filled with a strange serenity. "The Red Army used it for their sacrifices. The containers... are like chambers of torment, where they locked up innocent people. They inflicted suffering, tortured them to death, and I believe my parents are in one of them."

A chill ran down Airon's spine upon hearing the child's words. The darkness of the place seemed to acquire an even more sinister meaning as they advanced. The child continued speaking, their voice almost a whisper.

"The Red Army believed in purification through violence. They saw suffering and death as the path to their salvation. They sacrificed lives in the name of a twisted cause, fueling their thirst for power and domination."

As they ventured further into that maze of containers, the wails and roars intensified. Airon could feel the presence of evil hanging in the air, fueled by the horrors committed in that place.

The child continued, their voice growing increasingly somber. "Here... pain and death became currency. The sacrifices fueled their fanaticism, fed their thirst for power. But those who fell into the hands of the Red Army found no redemption, only a cruel and merciless fate."

Airon nodded silently, understanding the horror hidden in that place. His determination strengthened, determined to face any obstacle to put an end to the atrocities of the Red Army and protect the child from harm.

They proceeded cautiously, each step filled with tension and caution. As they approached the building, they could hear distant echoes of macabre voices and dark rituals. The child looked at Airon with eyes filled with fear and hope.

"You must stop them, sir." the child said with determination. "We cannot allow them to continue causing more suffering. We must end their horrors and free those who may still be trapped in these malevolent clutches."

Airon nodded, his gaze resolute. Together, they headed towards the building, prepared to confront the evil that awaited them and challenge the Red Army on their own turf. They knew the path would be difficult and dangerous, but they were willing to fight for justice and the salvation of those who had suffered at the hands of that perverse cult.

As they continued to advance, Airon found a woman and a not-so-young girl lying unconscious on the ground ahead, to be precise.

"What the hell is going on..."
