บท 41: Chapter 41: The Recoil

"Grayson!" A young woman runs up to him.

"Jenny," he thinks. Though it had been so long at this point it was blurry. He waves her over as she sits down next to him.

"You would not believe what happened to me last night," she gushes. "I went to a house show for that local band I was telling you about last week and I met the greatest guy."

Grayson smiles here, prompting her for more information.

"We have so much in common, it's kind of spooky. He carries a pocket Sylvia Plath poetry book with all his favorite verses underlined. He's a vegan and he has a cat named Buttercup."

Grayson, of course, already knew this. He had fed his client the perfect information to get them in the same place at the same time. He had everything he needed to be the man of her dreams. The plan had gone seamlessly.

"It feels like fate."
