CHAPTER TWENTY SIX

I have no choice but to fight back but fortunately the maitre’d walks in to check on the disturbance. He goes still, “Miss Cara? Is everything alright? Is this woman annoying you?”

I’m the one bleeding and he’s asking if I’m annoying this bitch?

“Are you blind?” I hiss at him, and he ignores me, “Miss Cara, the Alpha is waiting for you.”

Cara sneers at me before draping her shawl over her arms in a delicate manner before crouching down and wiping my blood on her nails on my face, “I have the ability to take everything from you. You have no idea who I am.”

Then she spits on me, adding a kick to my ribs, making me gasp in pain.

The maitre’d ignores the whole thing, waiting for her to leave before approaching me his face twisted in annoyance, “You are making a scene. Please leave.”

I shove him back as I get to my feet, humiliated, “I came here with Adam-”

“We cater only to respectable clientele in this facility,” he says, harshly. “We don’t entertain whores.”
