Crouching near the floor and putting on my shoes, I heard footsteps behind the front door. Placing my hand on a desk near me to help me get up, I fixed my clothes and hat.
I had a lot of my powers turned off due to them being inconvenient in everyday life.
Well, after fixing my clothes and opening the door before the person could knock, a flustered blonde-haired teenage girl stood in front of me.
Blankly staring at her, I say, "Why are you here?"
Seeing that she was still flustered while also being confused by what I said, she puffed up her cheek. "What? I can't come over to a friend's house?"
Walking out and closing the door, I heaved out a loud sigh. "No, you can do whatever you want."
After closing the door, I leaned on it and crossed my arms then intently looked into her eyes.
"Hold on . . ."
Placing my pointer finger onto her lips so that she couldn't interrupt what I was going to do, I reached into my pocket and brought out my phone.
Unlocking it with a questionable password combination and searching for a certain someone, I eventually found them in my contacts.
I then clicked on the call button and they immediately picked it up.
"Hey. I've got something I want to ask you, well, more like say to you. Do you perhaps want to spend some time together with me and my friend today?"
Waiting a couple of seconds for them to respond to my question since they hadn't said anything yet, a loud but also quiet yes echoed from my phone.
"If you do what to hang out with us, you should probably get dressed in 2 minutes since we'll be leaving pretty soon."
Hearing another yes from him, I took the phone off of my ear and ended the call.
Looking back at Cha and realizing that my finger was still on her lips, her face was radiating a ton of heat so I awkwardly and hurriedly took my finger off.
"Sorry about that," I said to her, crossing my arms as I then leaned against the wall near the door.
"Uh, it's okay, so . . . Who was that?" said Cha, trying to shake off what had just happened between us.
"Oh, that was just my younger brother, Sung Jin-woo. I told you about both him and my younger sister before, right?"
"Yes, yes you did."
Staring into the bright blue sky and quietly sighing to myself, I activated all of my powers which weren't destructive to a minimal level, and heard rushed footsteps behind the door.
Before anything else happened, I opened the door and saw a wild Sung Jin-woo trying to quickly put on his shoes. He was like a deer in front of a car, frozen and incredibly still.
Bringing one of my hands up and waving at him, I also smiled. "Are you ready to go?"
". . . yes!"
Grabbing his blue hoodie and taking him outside since he had his shoes on, I flicked his ear. "You don't need to be so tense when around me."
Shutting the door behind us and stopping him before Cha, all they did was just stare at each other.
"Sung, this is Cha Hae-in," I said, gesturing for her to interact with him but getting nothing.
Coughing into my fist, I continued the introductions. "Cha, this is Sung Jin-woo, and both of you are of similar age so you two better get along with each other."
"Oh . . . Hello, Sung. Nice to meet you."
"No, nice to meet you!"
Nodding to myself, I said, "Now that you guys have been introduced to each other, I think we should go eat and you two know what I'm like when I'm hungry, right?"
Waiting for their reaction since they were still looking at each other, they quickly nodded as to what I had said.
Going down the street and searching the city for a pretty good restraint near us, I looked behind me to see what they were doing.
At first, they were just silently following me but after a while, Sung randomly started intently glaring at Cha. He was also secretly trying to get closer to me.
I didn't even mind this kind of behavior from Sung since it was understandable from his point of view. Well, at least I thought it was.
When I saw that Cha had noticed what Sung was doing, it seems she was also trying to get closer to me so I abruptly stopped.
As the two bumped into my body because of me stopping unannounced, all I did was look into their eyes with my eyes that resembled the abyss.
Done mentally berating them, I tilted my head and said, "What are you two doing?"
Pointing at each other, they both roared, "He / She started it!"
Glancing at the people around us since they were wondering what these two were arguing about, I flicked their foreheads and turned around.
Seeing that the people around us were being to go along their way, I continued to where the restaurant was as the two behind me began running to catch up.
Smiling to myself and putting my hands in the pockets of my hoodie, I looked at the scenery before me.
'I kind of miss snow . . .'
Closing my eyes and looking into my library of magic that held an unimaginable amount of knowledge, I made a gesture with my hand and waited.
It was snowing, albeit not very much since I didn't want to see snow to that extent.
Spotting the restaurant across the street and looking both ways since I'm not alone this time, I saw no cars and walked across.
Pushing the door open and getting quick reception, we all sat down and looked at each other.
Waiting to end the awkward silence between us, I was the first one to speak.
"So, how is school treating you guys? Personally, it's doing good but I'm not going to college because . . ."
