บท 46: Chapter 46: Best Birthday Gift

Nancy’s POV

We pull into the parking lot of a restaurant whose name I can’t pronounce. It might be French, but I’m not sure. This place looks fancier than that Italian place Ronnie likes to take me to, but surprisingly this place doesn’t have valet parking.

The building looks magnificent, with black-painted brick and rose bushes surrounding the building. The front doors have huge stained-glass windows with different shades of blue and green. The windows run from the ceiling to the floor and are so clean I can see my reflection in them. There’s a white marble fountain out front with lights that make the water glow.

As we get closer to the entrance, I see a man in a tuxedo opening the door for everyone who walks up. He does the same for Ronnie and me. I smile at him in thanks as we pass by.
