Then they opened their eyes. They saw a very old-fashioned steam train lined up on the track. The smoke exhaust pipe on the top was spouting hot white steam. The Hogwarts Express No. 5972 train was written impressively on the locomotive.
The train station platform was bustling with students and parents, each carrying a trolley of a luggage. Looking up, a 9 3/4 sign hanging on the wall.
"Wow there is a platform in the pillar," said Mr Granger
"Attention Hogwarts students, there is still half an hour before the train departs. "Students who have not boarded the train yet, hurry up and prepare." A loud voice sounded, and the conductor pointed at himself with a wand. The position of his vocal cords was audible.

"How did we get sorted?"
"I don't know," said Alex not telling her about the sorting hat.
As stated in the movie, this is supposed to be a surprise to scare the freshmen, saying they have to fight to enter houses. Alex didn't want to spoil the surprise by revealing the truth behind the sorting hat. He was likely trying to save the freshmen from being scared unnecessarily, as the hat is just a way of sorting them into houses.
"Which house do you want to enter?" asked Hermonie
"It is a secret," said Alex
"Hmph, don't say it then", Hermione muttered with a pout on her cute face. Seeing that Alex rubbed her head and said
"Don't worry, I will be in the same house as you."
"Really?"
"yes, I promise "
Then the door of the compartment and a kid with a chubby face came and asked
"Did anyone see my frog?" asked the boy
As Alex was looking at him he realized that this was Nevil Longbottom, one of the future Gryffindor students.
"No, we did not see," said Hermonie
"I can help you," said Alex and took his hand from his coat pocket and chanted a spell. Then a toad flew towards Nevile. Seeing the toad Nevile caught it and said
"thank you" and left after introducing himself. And talked for some time.
"What is that spell?" asked Hermonie
"It is a spell to summon the objects we need. It has some limitations to summon the objects"
"Can you teach me?"
"Yes, I will teach you after we arrive at Hogwarts "
