(Blood energy has been used to restore the sword, the sword needs to be refined as blood energy has not been properly integrated and hence will affect the quality of the sword. If it is not refined in 3 years' time the sword will be degraded to a mortal weapon)

The side effect is worse than I thought, fortunately, I have plenty of points, and maybe I will find an answer in one of the simulations.
"Would you like to start the life simulation" The cold voice of the system immediately responded, its response to his thought was very fast in this matter.
"Yes!!"

[Arthur spends the entire night refining the demonic energy in his body using his basic energy, without a meditation technique to help him, his energy will soon be converted to demonic]
[Arthur continues his aggressive approach to kill the beasts in the forest and absorb their blood power, unexpectedly he loses control and starts wanton destruction in the forest and fights a dangerous battle with an earthen dragonling. It had a scaly tealish gray hide and a body shaped like an Iguana's. Its face resembles that of a weasel, and snake-like eyes with a pair of long horns.
Even with the boost provided by the skill Deminize, Arthur almost lost his life in that battle and barely managed to escape with his life. Even then he had to be bedridden for a week. This incident forced Arthur to realize how much of a double-edged weapon blood energy is. Arthur stopped rampaging about and stopped using blood absorption.]
[After meditating and refining his energy for more than Arthur managed to bring the demonic force inside his energy to a negligible amount, but he knew that it was not enough to completely remove the poison in his energy field. Since it had once affected, the next time blood energy will easily be able to corrupt his energy. Arthur only hoped he could complete his revenge before he lost his mind.]
[Arthur was also very wary about his "demon sword" as he found that during his battle with Earth dragonling, it seemed like there was another mind actively helping him fight it off. He didn't know if it was a sword spirit or a sinister spirit formed due to excessive blood-sucking. For now, he decided to guard himself against any possible invasion.]
[A few days later, Arthur decided to resume his hunt as he had fully recovered. but he decided that after every hunting day he would take two days' rest to digest the blood energy and purge it from his energy field. As he was moving through the woods he happen to hear the sounds of battle and cries in the forest path.
Arthur decides to take a look and he found the bandits from the watchtower had ambushed a merchant group. The Bandit leader Logan was fighting against a silver-haired middle-aged noble. Even though the noble's energy level was slightly weaker he was still able to fight Logan to a standstill. Amazingly he even found an opportunity to counter-kill some bandits every now and then, infuriating Logan.]
[Arthur decides to help and starts to assault the bandits which result in a grievous loss for them. It angers the bandit leader Logan, who is a mid-stage level two apprentice. Logan shakes off the early stage level two noble and charges toward Arthur and manages to overpower him. As the noble was stopped by bandit underlings, Arthur turned to you requesting help in slaying Logan.]
[You activate Demonize and boost Arthur's offensive power. Arthur charges towards Logan with renewed vigor to slay him, just when Arthur was dodging a desperate fatal strike from logan, you influence Arthur's body and Logan manages to slay Arthur.]
[The noble was already very weak from the blood loss from his wounds and over extortion in his fight with you earlier. The loss of Arthur collapsed the vigor of the guards and bandits managed to overpower them. With Logan rejoining the fray, the battle was soon cleaned up and bandits retreated to the watchtower with the spoils.]
[Among the captured people, the men were all killed and women were taken up as sex slaves. Logan took the wife and daughter of the noble for himself. After a night of debauchery, he killed them and sneaked away from the watchtower with his spoils.]
[After a month of aimless wandering, he reached the town of Donestone. Listening to the stories in the inn there he heard the expected news of the bandit purge in the town of Pato and its surroundings. His group was one of the targets that got wiped out.]
[Logan decided to stay low for a while, he tried to join the guards of the Silvercolt family and had to give you away to a guard named Marcus Crane.]
[You were not happy with his decision, but as an inanimate sword, you could only accept that fact. You also soon came to realize that Marcus Crane was the same Marcus, who was the sworn enemy of your old owner Arthur. Marcus hated Arthur a lot as he had lost the favor of the Silvercolt family and the chance to marry into that family because of Arthur's escape.]
[Marcus was much weaker than Arthur or Logan as he was only peak stage level one transcendent. After introducing Logan to Garen for taking the test to be the guard, Marcus left the Silvercolt mansion and went to his private property. He liked to meditate here ever since he was deprived of the strength potion]
[Marcus liked your appearance and was reluctant to put you away, so he placed you on his lap and he sat cross-legged to meditate. The technique he was provided was just the chant to quickly get into cultivating stance. Unfortunately, he was not provided with the energy paths he should guide, so he started moving the energy according to the basic path that every transcendent knows.
You quickly notice that Marcus's path is different from Arthur's path, since you never saw Logan's cultivating process you didn't know if it was different for each people or if was it just one of them was special.]
[Marcus's energy field has one less node than Arthurs and also after he completed the chant a cold energy seemed to have increased in the surroundings but Marcus's energy field was not compatible with it. You released a bit of blood energy towards Marcus to see what will happen.]
[Surprisingly blood energy was sucked in as soon as it came into contact with Marcus's body, and he was getting refined at a very fast pace. The sinister force which Arthur was helpless against vanished into nothing. In fact, you could feel a vague connection being built between each other.]
[You have a lot of spare blood energy, so you slowly release them toward Marcus, and his cultivation starts to rise fast. The day soon turned into night, and the night soon turned into daybreak before you used up all the energy stored in you. some time in between you had tried to stimulate Marcus's energy field in your body but sadly your understanding of the energy field was very weak and hence you failed to achieve anything.]
[Marcus on the other hand, had his entire strength boosted, coincidently his cultivation had reached the stage which Arthur had been at the time of his death. This was a major revelation, as the time Arthur took to reach this same was more than a month, not to mention getting demonized. It seems that Marcus's energy path was much more compatible with your energy.]
[You ask him to kill and drink the blood of transcendent beasts, Marcus's expression suddenly changes as he looks at you in awe. It seems that he can understand what you say, or at least he can feel your presence even without the need to demonize, but something tells you that you probably won't be able to influence him even in demonized condition.
In fact, his whole aura seemed to have become different from yesterday, even his appearance had changed. His hair which was pure black now had shades of crimson red, and his iris which was light brown had started to darken and his pupils were showing hints of red color in it. His lanky body had some muscles now. Overall his charm seemed to have been boosted, he was handsome like a devil.]
[Marcus decided to go for a hunt so that he could better understand you, but when he got up he felt the changes in his body. He was overjoyed to find himself not only advanced into the early stage of level two but also seemed to have put on some muscles, his body seems to be much stronger than before even without the energy.]
[Marcus's desire to hunt only became greater. When he absorbed blood for the first time, he could clearly feel his energy increasing, even though it was not as fast as last night, it was much better than his experience with earlier meditations.]
[Marcus knew that with this new way, he no longer would have to rely on the Silvercolt family to improve his power. Heck, the head of the Silvercolt family was just a peak stage level two, and due to an injury of the past without getting some rare and precious materials he wouldn't be able to advance.]
[Marcus stayed in the woods for a week. after his strength increased to mid-stage of level two, his confidence was boosted greatly. He assaulted a goblin lair and started to farm blood energy.]
[Sadly for Marcus when he just reached the later stage of level two, the goblin king was pissed off, and send two of his generals to bring your head. in the fight that ensued Marcus was able to hold off one of the generals for a while with your help, sadly you broke after a few rounds due to your low quality.]

"Well it is much harder this time, skill is basically trash. But options three and four are equally tempting. But I think the third is a better choice, it is the first cultivation technique I have encountered, and as a plus it really compatible with my blood absorption skill."

Suddenly a lot of information flooded his thoughts, and he felt dizzy. It lasted only a short few seconds but it was not a comfortable feeling.
