When Lars pounced at the old maintenance man and they both landed on the ground, the man screamed one last time for help.

To his amazement, neither his vocal cord nor his heart was ripped out of his body. He was still able to scream freely. No one tried to stop him either.

The giant wolf practically sat on top of him while licking his paws.

The old man was not sure what to do.

What was the giant wolf doing, sitting on top of him like that? Did he plan to crush his bones before killing him? How cruel! How inhumane!

While the old maintenance man was dwelling in his active imagination about what Lars could do to him, Aria squatted in front of him like a little child. She put both hands against her cheeks and pressed her elbows against her knees.

The young she-wolf looked at the old man with great interest.
