บท 66: The Morning After

Jenny Parsons lay naked in waiting under the sheet for the whole night. She was shaking with fear although the lavish suite was warm and cozy.

Truthfully, she found her father's method to ensnare Ryan beyond despicable.

But what else could she do?

She was nothing but a pawn on her father's chessboard, convenient to sacrifice at the right point in time to bring her father one step closer to the goal.

Tears started falling from her eyes as she lay there like a sacrificial lamb.

Tired of waiting, she eventually fell asleep.

Jenny Parsons was tormented by a nightmare in her restless sleep. When the nightmare dispersed and she woke up in the morning, she fell into a daze.

Her mind still scattered from the nightmare, she needed a few minutes to remember where she was and why she was naked.

After a while, she remembered.

The young woman frantically sat up and looked around.

No one was there. She was alone.
