"How did you come to that conclusion?" asked Rachel.

Felicia had concluded that her father had asked the baron to denounce Allen so she could fire him and replace him with a new knight.

"It's obvious from the way he talks. First, my father suddenly left me a letter when I wanted to go to the baron's place. Then, secondly, the baron started mistreating Allen after reading his letter. Not only that, he even insulted me too, which means he was sure that the earl wouldn't get angry no matter how harshly he treated me," Felicia explained angrily.

"I think you're just overthinking, my lady. There's no way Lord Reynold would do something like that."

Felicia paused, then looked at Rachel.

"Are you serious? This is my father we're talking about, a man who hasn't even seen me in over ten years. My rebel is the result of his behavior!"
