บท 88: The Binding

"What?" Lucifel's voice thundered, even louder than the king's tone.

Hazel felt his hand tighten on her wrist and she whimpered, slowly, he abruptly released her wrist and took a step further to the King. "Lady Evelyn is a cousin to me?"

King Griffin didn't reply. Instead, he walked amidst the people surrounding him and stopped at where the dead woman was.

'How dare he?' King Griffin's mind rumbled as he watched the pathetic scene. He wondered how this could happen. How could Lucifel kill someone so ruthlessly? The scene was just too irritating that he was tempted to order the guards to put Lucifel in the dungeon. However, he was the alpha, there was no way he could do that to him. He wasn't fit even though he was a king and besides, he knew it was his fault for not making this information disclosed to him.

"Father, is she aware? How is that even possible?"
