บท 446: Smile that hides a dagger

Madam Tian glared at her daughter hoping that Situ Yaoyue would try to snatch the attention of the duke from that maid. Even though Jiang Sheng was a werewolf shifter, he was in the end a nobleman with great powers in his hands. She had heard of the rumours from her maids, they told her that even though the odds were against Jiang Sheng, he was able to take over the position of the Duke by snatching the rights from his half-brother. 

No one knew how he did it but this was not something that Madam Tian cared about, the one thing she cared about was that —— Jiang Sheng was now the Duke and getting to know him would only help them! Thus, she was quite dissatisfied with the fact that the Duke was now talking with a mere maid instead of giving his attention to her daughter.
