บท 49: Chapter49: Oh Baby

The process of going through the fertility clinic for IVF was stressful for Chase even though he knew that the staff knew what they were doing. He was anxious about the possible complications despite the doctor telling them the percentages.

While Chase and Morgan waited in the clinic’s lobby for the final step of the process to be completed Morgan held his hand firmly, a sort of anchor to keep Chase's turbulent thoughts somewhat steady. Chase appreciated that.

Eventually, the doors opened and Korrin stepped through. Chase sat up straighter and watched her anxiously as she walked over to them. She beamed at them and Chase felt some tension leave his shoulders.

“It’s done,” she announced. “Now we just have to wait for a little under two weeks at the most to see if it takes.”

Morgan let out a heavy breath and Chase looked over at him, not having realized his anxiety as well. “That’s great,” Morgan said, smiling gently. “How about we all go out for lunch? Your pick, Korrin.”
