บท 30: Chapter 30: Back to Normal

It took a while for things to settle down and become somewhat normal again. Chase felt that after a week things returned to a more normal state and being around Morgan wasn't nearly as awkward anymore.

Morgan still hovered while Chase did chores around the manor and watched while he trained with Shan and Jenna but he didn't do any grand gestures anymore. They cooked together most nights and had gone through a hefty cookbook to pick out some new dishes to try.

The next time Chase worked with Korrin she commented on his smile and then asked him how things were with Morgan. He’d explained that they’d talked about it a little and sorted it out and Korrin had been happy for them.

“That’s good!” she cheered, grinning widely. “I told you Morgan would be understanding. He doesn't want to make you uncomfortable.”

“Yeah,” Chase agreed, smiling softly in return.
