"WHAT?!" Nori exclaimed in bafflement. "You expect us to jump?"

"The water is deep so you won't hit a rock or anything like that. It's the only way to ensure you are not caught and dragged back here. I hope you both can swim."

Nori swallowed but said nothing. She moved to the edge of the cliff to check out the height and discovered it wasn't an impossible feat. Thankfully, she knew how to swim and so does Karina.

"Do you have anyone who can come get you out of this town promptly without involving the police?" Cozan inquired while dropping Karina down and helping her balance.

"Why shouldn't we involve the police?" Nori questioned back, not sure where he was going with that question.
