By the time the plane landed at their destination, Karina and Veron disembarked with different expressions on their faces.

While Karina had a relieved and confused look, Veron had a teaseful smile on his face. His heart felt full and satisfied seeing her reaction on the plane throughout the journey.

The way her face lit up when she looked outside the window, and her confused question the moment they took off were things he wouldn't forget in a hurry.

"Aren't you scared of dying in a crash? What if the pilot dies and the plane crashes?" She had asked, signifying she was still scared despite her elation.

Her question made him laugh and he only told her to relax and enjoy herself.

"Even if this plane crashes, I can assure you that nobody will die. Not you, not me, and neither will the pilot. Be calm." He assured her, making her calm down slightly. However, after a few minutes, her body significantly relaxed.
