"Speak in clear terms, Gideon. You know how much I hate it when you give me vague answers. Don't make me guess what you are trying to say." Veron's tone made Gideon sigh again as he thought of a way to explain what he meant so Veron would get a clear picture.

"Externally, everyone radiates a kind of energy, but she doesn't radiate any. Internally, everyone has something that makes them who they are, but she is completely blank. The memories she has are only a fragment of who she is. Something very important is missing in her life. Right now, she is just like an empty vessel."

"And you don't know what is missing?" Veron queried, shifting his gaze to Karina as his expression turned complicated.

"I don't. I may get more information when she is awake and I can see her eyes." Gideon glanced at Karina and quickly looked away so as not to annoy Veron.
