บท 248: Lai's clear rejection

It was beautiful! the place was indeed and that is how it was to the eyes of the onlookers whoever saw it but that is not what he wanted to show her, how good he was at preparing such things rather he fought to impress her, he struggles to get her approval however it didn't seem so just by looking at her eyes.

Lai was rather surprised than impressed she looked like it was nothing to her on contrary to what they say.

On her face was nothing but coldness and unmoved look as if all his efforts were in vain and didn't count at all.

Just then he felt dejected though he couldn't show it and Lai add to it with her cold words that he felt necessary to let her know.

" What is this?" Lai asked coldly as if she did not like what was before her.

That didn't surprise him as from the look of it Lai was not impressed with what he had prepared for them, rather she seem more cold than before, but he couldn't give up now so he had to make it through her frozen walls.
