Belle didn't expect Eli would follow her inside. However, she wasn't worried about him coming over as well since she lived in his house before. 

They already spent a lot of time together for her to be worried about his presence. 

"Neon will be home soon," Belle commented when Eli appeared in her kitchen. "Why don't you have lunch with us? I'm sure he will be happy to see you here." 

"Then, let me help you prepare the food," Eli said and went to the sink to wash his hands. While doing so, someone pressed the doorbell and Belle hurried out. 

Eli thought that Neon came home already, but when he looked back, he found Allen standing there. 

After learning the truth about Allen's identity, Eli always felt awkward whenever this man was around. After all, he felt so jealous of him. 

"Dr. Rivera, I knew you'd be here," Allen said and smirked. "Are you aware that my cousin got engaged to someone else?"
