The calm before the storm

is more scarier than the storm itself.

Sophie sat at her desk with her head bent as she wept while staring blankly at the letter from Cole Malo. She had just received it that morning, and already her mind was racing with different thoughts. Cole Malo had written her to request the presence of the Wesley's Don at the Meeting of Dons. Normally this won't have been much of an issue, but nothing was normal anymore and this was a major issue.
