บท 41: Chapter 41: A Course of Action

Selene opens the bedroom door as Onyx walks out of the bathroom. He’s stunning as he stands before her. Selene feels weak in the knees as he flips his hair back and shoots her a wide smile. His freshly washed body glistens in the light from the fireplace and his muscles flex as he walks over to the bed.

“I thought I lost you again,” he says as he crosses the room.

Selene forces a smile and walks over to the couch. “Not a chance,” she says as happily as she can.

Onyx drops his brow as he studies her. “What’s wrong?” he asks while walking over to join her on the couch.

Selene is quick to dress him before he sits down. Talking to him about something she wants is going to be difficult enough, best not tempt herself with a naked Alpha.
