บท 226: Chapter 226: Prison Break

She was there in the light of the morning, as we cuddled all lovely and warm. I was happy to be with her, even though I wasn’t sure which Livy I was going to get. The one I’d fallen in love with, or the new one that had started to come up, after everything we’d been through.

I thought she’d gone a little odd after the kidnapping. She’d never really spoken to me before like she had in the hospital. And then she had followed me to Mexico to get Carl, despite my best efforts to leave her behind and keep her safe.

As shocking as both those cases were, I was fairly sure it went back before that, reading as far into the past as the solo trip she took to Europe. She never would have done that when she first came to the house while she was engaged to Carl.

She had increased in terms of her backbone, but I wasn’t sure where we would go from there.
