I woke up to knocking like a giant woodpecker had taken residence on the other side of the door.

Shaking from the dreamy haze, I tried to walk but stumbled on shaky legs.

Ellis had fucked me so hard I couldn’t even walk straight. It wasn’t the first time, but the first time in a while, and I had to try and readjust. Finally gaining control over my legs, I saw that Ellis was gone, along with his suitcase.

Not the ones full of cash that he probably didn’t think I knew about. It was the third case. The one with his clothes, passport, and gun.

Holding onto things, my left leg still pretty useless, I got to the door and opened it with a crack to see Ashely on the other side.
