บท 3: Project Abnormal
"M-my hideout" Frank yelled, hiding behind the building, watching as his hideout blew up in flames.
Shin had already brought him out before the attackers fired the missiles.
Frank turned, resting his back on the wall as he began breathing heavily from the stress, "How did you know.. they were there?" He asked.
"I heard them, didn't you?" Shin responded.
'This kid is definitely a superhuman' Frank thought to himself, standing to his feet and dusting his clothes.
"Is this normal… getting attacked in public?" Shin asked.
"Uhn…" Frank wasn't sure what to say, since the only information Loid gave him was that Shin was superhuman.
He wasn't sure if Loid told him he was a spy, so he did the only thing that came to his mind, which was to ignore.
"I'll call Loid and tell him about this, we should probably move to another place" Frank uttered.
"I'm confused, didn't they just blow your house away?" Shin asked.
"I have more than one house, you might say I'm pretty big around here" Frank laughed, "But first…" He began pulling off his clothes.
Shin stared at him, watching as Frank was struggling to pull his trousers with the phone in between his shoulder and ear.
"What are you doing?" Shin asked.
"What does it look like I'm doing, I have to check if there's still a bug on me."

Frank took Shin to his second hideout, located at the Southside of where his former hideout was.
It was a small run-down apartment, but it was still pretty tidy, the only rough thing about it was the numerous newspapers that were on the floor.
"Stay put okay, I'll be back". Frank said, exiting the sitting room and going to the bedroom to make a call.
Shin sat down on the chair looking around as he attentively studied the environment, "Normal...." He muttered.
He somehow managed to sleep off, but the sound of someone knocking on the door woke him up.
"Hia hia, coming" Frank yelled, running out of the room to open the door.
Loid immediately entered, "Is he okay?" He asked, badging into the living room.
"That isn't what I meant on the phone," Frank said, following behind Loid.
Loid stopped when he spotted Shin standing in the living room, "Shin, are you alright?" Loid asked.
"Owner, welcome back" Shin responded, bowing his head to greet.
Loid gave a reliving sigh, "Glad to see you are doing alright".
Frank immediately walked up to Loid, dragging him to the side of the room and he began to whisper.
"Listen, don't you think it's dangerous, letting him run wild, I mean it's the nup's project, they'll be looking for it" Frank uttered.
"Firstly I don't think the Nup had anything to do with it, it was a solo operation and everyone involved had been comprehended" Loid replied.
"Soo?"
"So, there shouldn't be any threat to his life, he is not a it"
"I see, then why not let him work for us, his superhuman abilities could really help-"
"Don't even go there" Loid interrupted with a cold voice, "I refuse to turn him into a weapon, he's going to grow and live his life like a normal human".
Loid walked away, "Come on, let's go Shin" He exited the house.
"Thank you" Shin bowed his head in gratitude before following behind Loid.
While they were walking on the road Shin asked Loid a question.
"Owner, am I not considered normal?" Shin asked.
"You are normal, don't let anyone tell you otherwise"
"Understood".
Thanks to his superhuman abilities, Shin was able to make out what Frank was saying to Loid, even if he couldn't understand, he still knew that they were trying to keep him in the dark.
"And don't call me owner, you can just call me uncle.".
"Uncle, does owner make you uncomfortable?" Shin asked.
"Hmmm, yeah, you can say that".
'Am I dangerous? What am I anyway?' Shin thought to himself.

They got home and entered the house, the first thing that Loid saw was Anya's shoes and bag on the ground.
"Anya!" Loid yelled, pulling off his shoe and entering the house.
Loid walked in and headed straight for Anya's room, knocking on the door as he yelled, "Anya, come out!".
From the kitchen Anya stepped out, tiptoeing her way to the entrance and slowly picking up her shoe and bag.
She froze up when she saw that Shin was still standing at the entrance, staring at her as she panicked.
"Shhh" Anya hushed, slowly standing to her feet, when she turned around to try and escape, she found Loid standing behind her with a pissed off look.
Loid slammed her head with his hand, he wore his shoe back and put on his hat, "I need to go get something done, look after Shin okay?".
"Of course, Anya is his teacher after all". Anya boasted.
"Just don't get carried away," Loid said before leaving the apartment.
As soon as Loid left Shin walked in and went to sleep on the ground.
Anya just watched him as her eyes went dark, "He's so quiet that I can't even come up with a topic" She thought to herself.
Sighing, she grabbed her bag and was heading to her room.
"Anya!" Shin called out, but he was still sleeping with his back facing her.
Anya turned around with her eyes filled with pride, "He hehe, he remembers my name" She muttered, "You need something?".
"Do you think I'm normal?" Shin asked.
"Of course not," Anya replied almost instantly.
"Oh… understood," Shin replied in a saddened tone as he folded himself up even more on the ground.
"But it's boring being normal," Anya said, sitting on the chair before crossing her legs.
"Are you normal?" Shin asked.
Anya hesitated to answer, "Think about it this way," Anya said, raising her hands to the air as she spoke, "Everyone is abnormal in their own way, you just have to fit in the normal world".
Shin hastily stood up from the ground and ran to Anya's front, "Teach me to fit in…" He yelled, moving his face close to Anya's.
Her face was beet red, she placed her hand on his face and slowly pushed him away with an annoyed yet blushing look on her face.
"I told you, I'm your teacher so it's my duty to teach you stuff" She replied.
Placing one of her legs on the center table, she raised Shin's hand and yelled, "This is operation Abnormal to normal!".
"Normal!" Shin yelled in his own sarcastic cold way.
