Cass frowned as he glanced at the door. Lucian noticed and inquired, "Are you alright?"

Meeting Lucian's gaze, Cass responded, "Didn't Seraphina seem upset?"

"She'll open up when she's ready. That's just how she is," Lucian reassured him.

Cass nodded, and Lucian continued, "Is everything set for tonight?"

"It is. I'll just make Oberion tell the truth. He won't have a choice, and then we'll handle the rest," Cass replied.

Lucian drew him closer, murmuring, "Then it'll be just the three of us."

Cass smirked. "The three of us and your harem."

Lucian's eyes sparkled with amusement as he leaned in to kiss Cass before pulling back slightly.

"I've got two surprises in store for you," he announced.

Curious, Cass inquired, "What are they?"

"You'll find out tonight," Lucian replied with a mischievous grin.

Cass eyed him suspiciously, but Lucian reassured him, "You'll love it, I promise."
