As Rhaenyra exited the chamber in complete silence, her mind became inundated with a myriad of emotions. She felt a deep sense of gratitude towards her sister for the profound conversation they had just shared.
Meanwhile, Valarissa had made the decision to embark on a city tour today, and she was determined not to be hindered by inappropriate attire. With a smile, she expressed her desire to Grace once more, saying, "Please bring me something else to wear after the meal. I intend to explore the city, and these garments are simply not suitable."
"Immediately, Your Highness," Grace responded dutifully, as she carefully folded the dress and retrieved a new ensemble. Soon enough, she returned with an entirely black outfit, adorned with the emblem of House Targaryen.
Valarissa's eyes widened with delight as she took in the sight of the new attire. The black fabric was sleek and elegant, hugging her figure in all the right places. The emblem of House Targaryen, a three-headed dragon, was intricately embroidered on the sleeves and collar, adding a touch of regality to the ensemble.
As Valarissa changed into the new outfit, she couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence wash over her. The black attire seemed to empower her, reminding her of the strength and resilience that ran through her bloodline.
Valarissa swiftly donned her new attire with the assistance of her two maids and with a final adjustment she was ready . Instead of immediately heading to breakfast, she made the decision to first investigate the true nature of today's Sign-in reward. It was imperative for her to ensure that it held more value than just being an empty container made of steel.
Understanding the significance of keeping something secret and close to your heart in a world filled with concealed magic, deities, and potential threats, Valarissa dismissed her maids, despite their unwavering loyalty and the assurance brought by her 'branding' ability. She couldn't afford to reveal all her trumbcards to anyone, as there might exist individuals capable of delving into memories or exploiting weaknesses in her branding abilities.
Alone in the chamber, Valarissa approached a small table and retrieved a small sack of Gold dragons from a drawer. As she did so, the surrounding around her seemed to transform as Valarissa dissapppeared from her chamber, a breath of fresh air to permeate the surrounding, a stark contrast to the putrid odor of King's Landing.
Inside the jade space, her physical presence surprised her, unlike the previous occasion where only her consciousness was projected. Casting her gaze towards the corner, she noticed a lengthy Cargo Container. As she drew closer, she opened the door and was taken aback by what lay inside. The fabrics that met her eyes were of exceptional quality, crafted from high-grade Cotton. They were meticulously arranged in large circular bundles, sorted by color, with white being the predominant shade, followed by pink and finally purple.
After shutting the container door, she continued to contemplate what to do with this abundance of fabrics. Should she sell them or embark on starting her own clothing store and offer them as finished products? Unable to reach a decision, she entered the hut and approached the Display panel. Inserting the pouch, she watched as the coin icon on the store window instantly transformed from 0 to 250 Gold dragon coins.
After careful consideration, he made the decision to purchase wheat seedlings for half of the farmland area, which would amount to approximately 20 Gold dragon coins. Additionally, he allocated 10 gold coins for various vegetable seeds. Furthermore, he utilized another 50 Gold dragon coins to acquire 100 pairs of Boer Goats and 50 pairs of Chianina Cattle.
Without any hesitation, he was willing to invest in these animals, as they were a one-time purchase. The jade space possessed the remarkable ability to accelerate the growth of both plants and animals. Moreover, the fact that he didn't have to manage these farmlands and animals made it even more advantageous, almost like cheating. The only exception was for the plants, which required him to enter the space for harvesting and replanting the fields.
Lost in his thoughts, he noticed the warehouse at the back opening, and tools began to fly towards the farmland. These tools diligently started working, arranging the fields according to the specific requirements for each type of seedling and seed, whether it was for the various vegetables or the wheat. Gradually, the seeds were sown and the seedlings were planted by an invisible hand.
She watched in awe as the jade space transformed before his eyes. The once flat land now teemed with life, as rows upon rows of wheat seedlings and vegetable plants sprouted from the ground which had just been planted.
Valarissa was filled with astonishment. She pondered, "Will this truly make me both lazy and wealthy?" As she turned and arrived at the vast expanse of grassland, a thought crossed her mind. She decided to release all the cattle and goats she had purchased onto the grassland, allowing them to freely roam and multiply. Valarissa had no desire to constantly spend gold on their upkeep.
With the space possessing the ability to halt the aging process of animals once they reached a certain age, she had no concerns about them growing old and perishing in this accelerated growth environment. She specifically chose these particular breeds of cattle and goats due to their size, which was the largest among both species in the blue Star region.
Valarissa harbored grand aspirations for the future. Her intentions extended beyond cultivating food for the kingdom and engaging in trade. She aimed to completely monopolize the supply of animals to the Dragon pit in King's Landing and Dragonstone. The expenses incurred solely for feeding and caring for the dragons were exorbitant.
He observed the cattle and goats roaming freely in the vast grassland, paying no attention to him. Despite the serene surroundings, she decided to leave the area and join her father and sister for breakfast.
With nothing else to do, she emerged from her chamber and Cerdic followed her as they made their way towards the dining area. Upon entering the grand hall, she noticed that her sister was the only one seated.
Valarissa greeted her sister with a smile as she took her seat. "Isn't father joined us for the meal?" she inquired of Rhaenyra. "Father is currently in a meeting with Uncle Deamon at the throne room," Rhaenyra explained.
