"So what do I name you?" I spoke looking at the Cub sitting on my shoulder,
Grr~, It growled as I smirked,
"So I am just going to guess that the explosion from before was related to the cub?" Kelin spoke as Arna was driving the Carriage.
"Well something like that you got any suggestions?" I asked stroking the the cub under its chin. It was holding up a lot better than I thought it would regarding the death of its parents.
"What about Josy?" Arna tried to suggest but a hiss from the cub cancelled any chance of her suggestion being chosen seems like this cub had a thing against Arna.
"What did I do?" Arna grumbled from the driver seat.
"Maybe she just doesn't like Masochists" Kelin spoke as he got a glare from the former.
"You want me to punch you?"
"I think you are forgetting that I am still stronger than you."
"I will ask Adric to beat you up."
"Nope I am not getting into the middle of your fight" I spoke up as she looked at me.
"No sex for you if you don't beat him." she threatened I just smirked.
"Your loss, I will just walk a few blocks and get a hooker,"
"Pfft~" Kelin stifled his laughter as their arguments continued,
I looked at the side Naofumi was quite thinking about something, while Raftalia looked flush most likely due to Arna being so blunt.
"Hmm? How about Reyna for your name?" I spoke as the cub looked at me, before rubbing slightly against face perhaps showing its approval.
Then Reyna it is.
I was just thinking this when the interface popped up in front of me but this time with a new member.
[Reyna Lv 2]
"Well isn't this nice, welcome to the crew Reyna" I spoke as I could see Reyna raising her head feeling proud of herself. I looked back to Naofumi.
"Oi dickhead! thinking about shit isn't going to solve it." I spoke breaking him out of his thoughts.
"Reacting to it won't help either" He replied as I shrugged.
"True, but you aren't strong enough to prevent things from happening even I haven't reached that stage yet."
He sighed but didn't say anything as I Decided to take a nap, it seems the dinner tonight would be exciting to say the least seeing the things that I have done today are sure to kick up a storm.

3rd POV
Melromac Capital
"He did what?" Aultcray who had just received the report frowned rubbing his temple, standing near the window of his room.
"The delay in the arrival of the main forces was also delayed because they didn't want to go against him and are trying to do everything to appease him" the spy spoke as Aultcray sighed, he could easily tell what Adric was trying to do with his actions but he seemed to be underestimating how a kingdom is run especially Melromac.
"Are you sure his left eye was similar to a Reptile's?" Aultcray asked as the spy nodded, "Then I think you know what to inform the pope about."
"Yes, also the relief effort team has been dispatched to Riyute as per your orders, your majesty" the spy dissappeared, as the king of Melromac looked out to see the arrival of his daughter and her party of the spear hero.
Maybe he could not attack the sword hero directly but there were always others around him especially that bastard Sheild Hero.
Whom Adric seemed to be teaching how to be proificent, there is always a price for touching his daughter like hell would he let Naofumi have an easy life.
His purple pupils shaking slightly as he calmed down.

1st POV Night.
"See I told you his eye is similar to a reptile's, is he a demi-human?" I heard the nobles having a not so discretee conversation, I half smirked.
So this is how that fucker Aultcary wanted to play huh,
"Should I go beat them up?" Kelin asked seems liek he more irritated by talking behind someone's back than other things. Arna meanwhile had already written down the names of the people that seemed to be badmouthing me.
"Wow you seemed to know a lot about Nobles than I thought?" My question seemed to have caught both of them off guard.
"Well we were mercenaries so Fredta wanted us to be familiar with a majority of them." Kelin came up with an excuse as I let them go for now but I would need to know what they weren't speaking about eventually.
It was at this moment I caught the Shadow standing near the pillar looking like a noble lady at me seems like she wants to talk about something, for some reason I couldn't find Aultcray anywhere around and it wasn't sitting well with me.
I just smiled as I could see the shadow not wanting to approach me out of nowhere raising suspicion on her, but of course she would need to get here.
I think she could not get anymore as she moved towards me,
"Do you have a moment Sir Hero?" She spoke as I smiled at her.
"Of course, how can I help you?" I replied as she stared at me with a fake smile.
"Could we talk in private for a minute, I wouldn't take too much of your time." She spoke while I could feel the gazes of the people around.
"Sure, Please lead the way." I spoke as she gestured to follow her towards the upper floor.
"Keep an out but don't interfere with anything that happens until I get back" I intructed the two twins who nodded.
Reyna jumped onto Kelin's shoulder while I decided to follow the shadow to the upper floor coming out to a balcony, overlooking the Capital below lit up in the night.
"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked as she turned towards me,
"I will get straight to the point sir Hero. What exactly are you?"
"What do you think?"
"Please do not joke around Sir, this could very well lead to war between Siltvelt and Melromac"
"Well aren't you both a bunch of idiots fighting on a burning boat,"
"I do agree but that is exactly why we need to be sure before making any moves." She spoke I could feel the anxiety from her it seems to be much more serious than I initially thought.
Well played Aultcray,
"If you want to know, the screen shows me as a Dragon-Human Hybrid" I spoke as I could see her eyes widen a little, clearly this wasn't what she wanted to hear.
"Are you perhaps consdering the offers from Siltvelt and Shieldfreeden?" she asked as even after all her training I could see her being nervous.
"Well...." I was just about to say something but the loud noise from the ball room stopped our conversation.
"I am assuming that this has nothing to do with the Queen?" My question broke the shadow out of her stupor, Cursing under her breath she blew a whistle though my ears weren't able to pick it up.
"We will continue the conversation, but to answer your question I have no plan as of now, though it may change in the future."
"Thank you Sir Hero, we will do our utmost to help you and not disappoint you." she spoke before disappearing into stealth.
They really seem desperate right now.
Judging by the amount of mana Naofumi was releasing right now things seemed to be growing interesting.
"How can a Hero have a slave as a party member?" I heard Aultcray's voice, as I came out to see the hall in an upheaval. I smiled as I saw Naofumi being held back by multiple soldiers a couple already had broken bones and were knocked out while the others were holding back as Raftalia was being detained by the soldiers.
She should easily be able to beat the shit out of them if she wanted to, but her nature was holding her back what a headache. I sighed.
I pulled out my other sword using telekinesis, seems like I needed to handle this situation before things went too far.
"A hero should not have a slave..."Motoyasu seemed to be speaking but I think my sword going through the head of the two soldiers holding Raftalia distracted him.
"Oh my, I go out for a stroll and you guys start the party without me, I am kind of sad." I spoke as the soldiers surrounded me this time was I walked down the stairs.
"What are you doing, Adric?!" this was Itsuki who had got the front row seat to the killing of the two soldiers.
"What do you mean? I saw them bullying Raftalia so I killed them." I replied shrugging as I came down to where the others were.
"They weren't bullying her, she was forcefully enslaved...." Motoyasu began to speak as I cut him of,
"...enslaved by the people of Melromac, Bought by one of the four heroes summoned by Melromac, I don't see what the problem is." I completed his sentence, as I think this really hit a nerve with these bunch of hypocrites but the nobles sitting in the balconies didn't say anything.
"She is being forcefully used to fight the waves by the Devil of the Shield," Aultcray spoke up as I looked at Nofumi, his face seemed to be covered in a reddish net along with a small flame sprouting out of the green gem on his shield.
Aultcray's reasoning started a discussion in the nobles.
"And how do you know that she is being forced to do so?" I asked as they shut up.
"Pfft~ she is a slave she needs to follow orders does she not" he replied.
"Ah, that a pretty easy fix, Aultcray." I replied as I could see his eyes narrow since I didn't address him as your majesty anymore, I could even see the pope getting a bit uncomfortable up there.
"Naofumi, why don't you just order Raftalia to tell the truth?" I spoke as Naofumi began to calm down but his rage seemed to be even more now that they tried to touch Raftalia who seemed to have become his emotional anchor.
He stared at me for a moment before looking at Raftalia, "Raftalia tell them the truth, that is an order." he spoke as the purple seal on her chest glowed lightly.
"So Raftalia do you wish to fight against the wave at Naofumi's side?" I asked as she looked at me.
"Yes, I want to do so."
"What about you, Naofumi?"
"Yes I do"
"Very well now I proclaim you husband and wife....wait a minute I went a little off script here." I spoke as I could see Kelin and Arna snickering in the back while both the bride and the groom, cough I mean Naofumi and Raftalia were red faced with Naofumi glaring at me,though it seemed that the red markings had faded along with the flame.
"Sir hero, she could just have been ordered by Naofumi to say it like this." Myne started to say as I could already see the public opinion had already swayed in my favor the seal does not allow disobedience, what a gullible audience.
"Of course, he could so let's see Motoyasu challenged Naofumi to a duel for freeing Raftalia but in this only Naofumi is wagering something isn't he. Motoyasu should also wager something equivalent, like Welt over there."
"What do you mean by that Adric?" Aultcray spoke as I think he figured where I was going with this.
"Simple, if Naoumi loses Raftalia becomes free, but if Motoyasu loses Welt becomes a slave serving under Naofumi." I suggested as I think this threw the whole hall into an uproar.
"How can you even suggest something like that Adric?! There is a limit to what I can allow you to say!" Aultcray seemed to have lost his cool.
"What do you mean Aultcray, doesn't Melromac allow slavery to exist. Or is it that you fear that Motoyasu will lose to Naofumi." I spoke loudly as it was a challenge even the pope had a frown as he was looking at my direction, I glanced at Naofumi who seemed to playing along.
Checkmate fucker, either he retreated or his daughter loses one of her underlings. I see this as an absolute win.
"Papa,.." I heard Myne who slightly gripped Aultcray's sleeve as he sighed before his eyes focused again.
"Of course Spear Hero wouldn't lose to the Shield Hero, the concept is itself ridiculous." He spoke, what a fucking moron getting swayed by emotion when being on such a situation.
"Well what do you say Motoyasu, care to wager with the freedom of your comrade? I am sure Welt ruts you fully, don't you Welt?" I turned to a glaring Motoyasu and a pale Welt.
"T...hat...I..I am sorry!! SIR ADRIC!! PLEASE I WAS ORDERED TO SPY ON YOU BY JOINING YOUR PARTY SAME WITH JOINING SPEAR HERO SO..." Welt finally broke down not wanting to become a slave as I just smiled while the hall seemed to be thrown into chaos yet again
"WHAT!!?" Motoyasu turned towards Welt
As I could see Myne glaring at Welt I am pretty sure even if I don't kill him he is pretty much dead, As for Aultcray, he seemed to be glaring at me as I walked past him whispering just loud enough for him to hear.
"hehe I believe its my win, fuckface. This is just the tip I will take everything you hold dear, your kingdom, your prestige, your life, your daughters and even your wife"
