บท 13: Rescue
--Locay, north-western Melromac---
"So here is the plan," I muttered as we were nearing the town.
"When you go in and hand him the money he will either make two choices first he will kill you but from what you said he knows the connection between you and fredta so that's unlikely. second he will let you go then his henchmen will attack you and take your nan back, and extort more money from youvia some third party or some other shit." I spoke as Kelin was driving the caravan, while Arna was sitting with me and a small girl, Jalis who was travelling with us to break the slave crest.
"So?" Arna asked as I started explaining,
"I will stay outside and will be your trump card if you are attacked inside then you will have to hold out until I get to you. If you are attacked while travelling back I will take care of it." I replied as they nodded.
"Oh and she also stays back we don't want to let them know that we are breaking the seal." I said pointing at Jalis who nodded.
As I stood up and picked up Jalis,
"Good luck!" I said before jumping off into the trees.
"Hey can you survive in the jungle for a few hours?" I asked.
"Yes, Ma'am asked me to assist you in anyways possible"
"Good then Hide until we get back" I spoke and the girl ran off hiding about three trees away from the road.
And I started trailing the carrige.

--Kelot manor--
The guard came in as Decarius Kelot the present head of the house was going through the reports.
"What is it?" He muttered without looking up.
"Rastford are here for the slave" the guard replied as Decarius paused.
"Is anyone else with them?" He asked as the guard shook his head.
'So it's not the sword hero and the shield hero is still in the capital. While the other two are moving about leveling up...hmm how did they get the money?' the middle aged man shook his head, how they got the money isn't his problem he still had to hand half of it to the slave catcher who came up with this plan.
"Let's go meet them." Decarius got up and followed.
As he cam outside to the front of the manor where the two siblings were waiting by the carrige.
"So you both are here! Did you stumble on a treasure or something?" The man smiled only to get a glare from the two.
"Here is your two hundred gold, get her out here" Arna spat as the Decarius just smiled
"of course, I will sell her to you" Decarius said as he signalled the servant behind.
"Are we going in?" Kelin asked as Decarius smirked.
"I have no intention of killing you, so you can relax." Decarius said as the servant brought a cat demi-human, wearing a maid outfit as she looked at the siblings.
"Nan!" Arna wanted to go directly for her but Kelin stopped her.
"Two hundred gold" Kelin handed the bag to the seervant that started counting as Dacarius laughed.
The demi human was staying quite but you could see her shaking slightly.
Decarius cancelled his contract with the demi-human and handed her over when the servant confirmed that it was two hundred coins in the bag.
"Pleasure doing business with you!" Decarius spoke up as Arna wanted to punch his face in but Kelin stopped her.
"Nan please get in we will be leaving" Kelin said as the demi human looked at them wanting to say something but seeing that even Kelin was on edge she just did what he said.
Decarius on the other hand signalled the servant standing around the corner who flipped open a comunication crystal.

I was standing on the roof looking at the estate when the carrige came back out with three passengers .
I saw Arna hugging the demi human tightly as they were crying while Kelin was keeping is emotins in check.
Alright so It going to happen outside the city I started following them while keeping myslef in a basic stealth spell.
As we came out of the town, Arna went back into alert as I ran forward and spread my senses sensing about twenty mana signatures. They should be around the level of Arna if I am right.
This might be a bit difficult buthe good thing was they were spread out trying to encircle the carrige.
Time to get to work.
[Haste]
[Silence]
I increased my speed jumping through the trees heading for the nearest one to begind my attack, He was a mage so it wouldn't be much of a problem. I ran upto him, slashing his neck before he could even make a sound before heading for the next one,
The second one was down fatser as the third one had better instincts as he blocked my attack with his blade
"Enemy!!" He was able to call out before I slit his throat.
"Oi! what's going on?"
"Hailte Where are you!"
sHouts began to ring out through the forest as I sensed the enemies starting to converge 17 left.
I ran to the group of two and killed them but our clashes attacted other groups, as I went to work hunting every last one of them down, Chugging a mana potion down when my mana hit the lowest point.
Now there was just a single group of eight left.
They were strong, I could sense that plus they were on alert so suprise attacks is a no go.
Well I will have to work hard this time.
I clashed with them dodging the strikes.
"Who the hell is that?!"
"Keep it together you fuckers...gaah"
"There!"
"Heal me!"
"Stop coming in the middle you idiot"
Safe to say their teamwork was almost negligible as I killed the last of them and looked down at myself.
I had blood splattered all over me as I started walking back sheating my sword,
My armour was damaged now, due to one of axe weildersI came out of the forest and followed behind the carrige until we neared the place where we had seperated.
I came out of the forest as the carrige stopped at the point as Jalis and I came out.
"Seems like things went well" I spoke as I could see that both of them crying as they hugged the catwoman.
Well it seems I can leave it at that.
