Xavier stared at Aurora for a while then scoffed.
"If you think your little speech is going to change anything then you're just wasting your time" Aurora rolled her eyes. Why was he being so difficult?
She stood up from the ground then pointed at him which made Xavier's eyebrow raise in amusement.
"Just you wait, I'll soften that heart of yours and when I do, I'll be known as the weak little wolf who softened a demigod" Damien Scoffed.
"Well you better snap out of that little fantasy you have going on in your head because it's not going to happen. Go now, I want to rest" She pouted at him. Why was he always dismissing her?
"I'll be back, don't wait up for me" Before he could say anything, she ran out of the cave and closed the door behind her before letting out the breath she didn't know she was holding.
His Aura was Extremely intimidating and Suffocating but she told herself she wasn't going to act scared around him anymore. He was the one in chains with a stake poking out of his side, why should she be the one afraid?
"Because he's a demigod that can kill you with just a stare?" She rolled her eyes as she heard her wolf mutter in her mind.
"Shut up, I don't need your word of wisdom now" She turned back to stare at the door and a determined Expression crossed her face.
She was going to change him and make him let go of the hatred and anger he felt towards her parents. She turned back around then walked away, she needed to leave before they figured out she was gone.
Xavier chuckled softly as he thought of what she said.
"What a strange little weak wolf".

Aurora woke up to the sound of her mother's worried voice. She opened her eyes slowly and her mother immediately rushed up to her and grabbed her hand with worry on her face.
"Oh my, we were so worried about you. You usually wake up so early in the morning so when you didn't wake up, I thought you had fainted because of what we told you last night" Aurora sighed.
She loved her parents but they were insufferably Overprotective and sometimes she just wanted to be alone.
"Mother, I was up all night reading a novel so I didn't get to sleep early and that's why I woke up late. Stop worrying about me" Roseline sighed as she sat down on the bed.
"Oh dear, I can never stop worrying about you. You're my little baby girl. Hurry up and get ready so that you can eat breakfast or do you want me to bring it up to your bed?" Aurora shook her head.
"I'll come down" She remembered the last time her parents served her breakfast in bed because she was so weak, she couldn't get up but when Veronica found out, she screamed at the top of her lungs at how unfair they were being and Aurora wasn't in the mood for that today.
When her mother left, she suddenly remembered that she had to visit that demigod today. She jumped out of bed and hurriedly placed the things she needed today inside a red cloth then placed it under her bed. After breakfast, she had to find a way to convince her parents to allow her to leave the house alone but how?
She sighed as she left her room and walked down to the dining room.
As soon as she got there, only her mother was seated at the table which made her smile. Her mother would easily bend to her tunes if she emotionally blackmailed her.
"Mother, where's father and Veronica?" Aurora asked as she sat down at the dining table.
"Your father had something to take care of with Beta Jacob and Gamma Bruce but he'll be back soon and Veronica refused to eat" Roseline let out a sad sigh after saying that which made Aurora frown. What was wrong with Veronica now?
Aurora cleared her throat then stared at her mother with the most innocent and sad eyes she could muster.
"Mother, yesterday when I was in the forest, I found the perfect spot to read my books and…."
"I'm not letting you go out alone if that's where this story is headed" Roseline said with finality in her voice which made Aurora frown.
"But mother…." Roseline turned to her with a glare.
"You don't know how serious your situation is, Aurora. What if something happens and you can't get to us, what then?" Aurora pursed her lips then took a deep breath. It was time for the emotional blackmail.
She bowed her head then let out a dramatic sigh.
"No one likes me, I have no friends and now you and father are planning to trap me in here. I just want to read my novel, is that also a crime? Why is my life so difficult?" She finished off with another dramatic sigh then sneakily glanced at her mother and saw that it seemed to be working because her mother's face had softened. It was time to hit the nail on the head.
She pushed her plate away then stood up.
"I'm not hungry anymore, I'll just go up to my room and wallow in my misery" She turned away from her mother and was about to walk away when her mother stopped her.
"Wait… will you promise to mind link any of us if something goes wrong?" Aurora let out a smirk then immediately wiped it off before turning to her mother with the same innocent look.
"Yes and I'll be back before you know it. You can check up on me from time to time" Her mother stared at her for a while then sighed.
"Fine but just in case, take some of the medicine with…."
"You mean blood?" Aurora found herself saying but immediately regretted it when her mother frowned.
"Please Aurora…."
"I'm sorry, I'll take it with me, don't worry. Bye!" With that, Aurora stuffed her mouth with some food before running out of the dining room.
"Be careful, love!" Aurora heard her mother yell but she was too excited to listen. She didn't know why but she was both excited and nervous to see the demigod.
She walked into her room, grabbed the stuff from under her bed before running out of the house, making sure not to bump into anyone.
She glanced around her, making sure her mother hadn't secretly made someone follow her before she ran into the forest. Her heart was thumping in her chest the closer she got to the cave but before she could get there, someone grabbed her hand.
She turned around and her eyes widened when she saw Steven.
"Where are you going?" Steven questioned as he stared at her suspiciously. She tried yanking her hand out of his grip but he held onto her tightly.
"Let go, what do you think you're doing?" She questioned as she stared at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"I saw you last night running into the forest and I followed you but it was like you disappeared into thin air because I couldn't find you. What are you doing here?" Aurora's eyes widened slightly. She was about to think of a lie when a deep husky voice sounded in her head.
"Thinking of me, Little weak wolf?"....
