บท 18: Chapter 18: Unbending Will

From the ground, a hand emerges and soon the whole body also starts appearing.
Kei pulls himself up from the ground and stands on his feet as he stares at Frieza
Frieza and everyone else are shocked to see Vegeta survive that huge explosion, but it's not like Vegeta has not taken any damage from that attack
Kei's battle suit is completely destroyed, even his clothes are tattered, and his tail is completely exposed to everyone. He is bleeding from every part of his body but still standing firm as he looks straight into the eyes of Frieza
"It would have been better if you kept yourself down and acted like you are dead rather than showing yourself like this."
"Really? As a Saiyan Prince, I can't rest when you attack others just because you think that you have killed me
It hurts my pride you know, After all, do you really think that you can put an end to me with that attack?
Don't joke with me, we still have a long way to go"
Kei doesn't give a shit, as someone who has been a fighter in his previous life and never lost any single match in his career, losing to Goku has already put a dent in his pride- his legacy
And now its Frieza who is trying to tear apart his pride, thus, he will do whatever it is necessary to keep on fighting in hope of making this battle at least a draw
That is, if possible
Silence filled the entire place as both Frieza and Kei looked at each other, no one knows what the other one is thinking as they keep looking at each other.
*!!!!!*
*WHOOSH*
At a speed that can be only sensed by Frieza only, Kei appears right behind him and launches continuous Energy Bullets

The whole ground starts shaking from the explosion done by Kei's attack and a large cloud of smoke is created where Frieza was standing
"huff
Huff"
Kei's breathing is becoming heavy as exhaustion is starting to catch up and at any time, he can fall down
"Did he catch him?" Krillin asks as he gulps his dry saliva, but no one answers his question as in the next moment, he got his answer
*Whoosh*
"What?"
Frieza, out of nowhere, appears right in front of Kei with his knee moving towards his face
*BANG*
"PHUAA"
Kei falls back from that attack but Frieza didn't let him go too far as he grabs one of Kei's wrists and circles him around
And then throws him up in the air
"YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR PLACE!!!!"
Frieza screams and charges his attack, Death Bullet, at Kei
*TEEEEEEEEEEE*
*BWOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
This attack, as compared to the last attack (Death Beam), is not that strong but still, it's a sharp one and the reason why Frieza didn't use much of his Ki is that he can see Vegeta already on the brink of death.
"VEGETA SAN!!!!"
Gohan tries to leave the place to save Vegeta, but he is stopped
"Stop where you are!" Kei shouts as he stops himself in the air and looks straight at the coming attack.
He raises his left arm and casts his skill, "Ki Wall"
*BOOOOOOOOOM
BOOM
BOOM
BOOM
BOOM*
One after another Death Bullets landed on Kei's Ki Wall but none of it managed to surpass it.
"Hufff - Huff"
Kei is now touching his limits, he barely managed to create Ki Wall
The explosion stops and smoke is created around Kei, soon the smoke clears away and everyone sees Vegeta
"WHAT?"
Frieza saw Vegeta all unharmed from his attack, he is shocked
Gohan and others are also shocked to see Vegeta still holding onto his life even after multiple energy blasts when he barely has any Ki left in him.
"You truly are something"
"Huff huff huff
AHAHA
What can I say, it's Saiyan blood after all"
*WHOOSH*
"Where?"
*SWISH*
"Then allow me to end your life with my own hands!"
Frieza appeared right in front of Kei, Kei takes a few steps back and uses both of his hands to cast Ki Wall but…
*CRUMBLE*
*BANG*
One kick and the Ki Wall crumbled like a castle made up of sands
"PHUUAA"
The kick connects Kei, the pain is unbearable, and he is sent straight into the mountains
*TEEEEE*
*SHEW*
*BOOOOM*
Frieza launches a giant energy blast where Kei crashed and a huge explosion takes place, but Frieza is still looking unhappy
Before the smoke from the explosion could clear away, Frieza goes inside it and then throws Vegeta out of the smoke onto another piece of land.
With his heavy feet, Frieza walks toward Kei and then stood in front of him and stares into him
"Did you really think that you had a chance against me?"
"ma.. maybe"
"You truly know how to make people angry"
*TEEEEEE*
Frieza created a Death Beam from one of his fingers and aims right at the heart of Vegeta, he wants to end this battle for good.
But suddenly, Kei raised his right hand and showed Frieza his palm
"hahaha
Is this how your surrender?
But I am not gonna allow you to surrender as I have made up my mind to kill you"
"Shut up, Who wants to surrender?"
"What?"
*TEEE*
*WHOOOOOOOOO*
Kei creates a power ball in his right palm, which is so bright that it made Frieza blind, which gave him some room to breathe air.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing, just absorbing Blutz Wave"
"WHAT?!"
Kei knows the skill to create an artificial moon and so he creates it in the last moment in the hope to transform into Great Ape and live!
Soon, the required energy is absorbed by Kei, and then….
*ROAR*
The bright light disappears and now stands a Giant Ape in front of Frieza
"You and your petty tricks
Nothing would work against me!
HAAAAAAA"
Seeing the Great Ape, Frieza knew that he has to unleash half of his strength as the Great Apes' power is 10 times more than its base power.
*BOOOOM
BOOOOM*
*ROAR*
*BOOOM*
One after another explosions took place and the whole space kept on trembling
Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, and Dende are shocked to their core as they never thought that Vegeta stood a chance against Frieza after he showed his true form
But now, Frieza has to use half of his true strength to end the life of a man who is already weak and on the brink of his death.
This made fear in their hearts, Vegeta as an enemy is no good deal.
*BOOOOM*
*ROAR*
The battle didn't take long as the difference between Frieza's half-strength (60 million) and Great Ape's strength (20 million) was over 40 million but still, Vegeta's endurance and battle power put Frieza in complete disbelief
As the Saiyan Prince falls to the ground, Frieza kept his eyes on him
*BOOOM*
but when Kei showed no movement even after falling to the ground, Frieza finally took a deep breath and then turned around to end others
BUT
*noise*
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" (Frieza)
"V… Vegeta…" (Krillin)
"I… I still… have one more card…. left...
*Cough
Cough*
COME!"
