Thoughts were still spiralling around in Valentina's mind as she had already started preemptively making plans for the future and brainstorming different possibilities but, after a quarter of an hour, it was time to focus on the task at hand. Everyone else was ready and now all that was left was facing off against the mythic beast.
The rest of the journey was taken not by wagon but on horseback, and for the next half hour of travel, there was a tense atmosphere in the air. No one had their ego bursting at the seams anymore, not even someone like Major General Krayzimy would be able to approach the upcoming encounter without any reservations. After all, if they were a different group, some could have easily called this mission suicide.
Not much to say today. Moving is a pain in the butt and I'm just trying to sell furniture that I can't afford to take with me. I've been very tired recently but I'm happy I'm able to get chapters out for you still, even if I miss a day here or there. Thank you very much for your patience.
Anyway, as always I hope you're having a wonderful day~
