I threw my head back as a spear shot forth, brushing by the tip of my nose. If I was a second too late, then it would've pierced through the side of my head. Thankfully, I already knew that there was going to be a trap somewhere around there, so it didn't catch me off guard.
Right after triggering it, I immediately hopped on forth, not wanting to remain behind for much longer.
It had triggered right behind me. Nathan followed along right after the spear retracted.
We decided to take turns navigating the traps, just so that if we did end up screwing up, the injuries would be shared between us, rather than concentrated on one person. There was never a problem of not knowing that there was going to be a trap since we had already memorized the general formula.
