After that was all said and done, I had a new set of gear for myself that was quite a bit better than my old stuff, roughly 33% stronger considering I had moved up from basic Steel to a Damascus made from Quicksilver and Steel.

All in all, I increased my Smithing from 38 to 46, giving me a level to put into Elven Smithing - I leveled up from smelting the ores into ingots and alloying them, allowing me to unlock the ability to forge with Quicksilver.
