Miguel felt like the biggest fool in the world as he watched Gemma walk away. In fact he was the biggest fool on earth.

She had just told him that she loves him and then signed the divorce papers. He is supposed to go after her, he is supposed to stop her from leaving and also profess his love for her. But he didn't, instead he stood and watched her walk away.

They are officially divorced, and she was free from him and he from her. But he didn't feel free. Now he understood the reason that Father John kept telling him that revenge isn't always sweet as anticipated, most times you end up getting hurt in the process.

Looking at the divorce papers, he wanted to shred them into pieces, he didn't want to be separated from her. He still wants her to be married to her.
