"You really know the person that did it?" Auntie Sophie asked in surprise tone no longer eating her food as she looked at Gemma.

The restaurant was filled with guests and even though there was a soft jazz playing on a stereo Auntie Sophie still had to bring down her voice an octaves lower so the other guests on the next table doesn't hear their conversation.

"You know the person that might have caused the miscarriage?" She asked, her eyes wide open in shock.

"I'm not sure but I do suspect someone."

"I think you should tell your husband, he needs to know."

"I don't want to talk to him just yet."

Gemma felt guilt that she had not been sensitive and watchful enough for her to have allowed such thing to happen. Talking to Miguel about it will only make him blame her more and she didn't want that.
