บท 114: Will She Be All Right?

Later that night after the party as Miguel drove them back home they both talked and laughed about the things that happened at the party.

After a while, Gemma began to feel a slight discomfort in her lower abdomen.

"Are you all right?" Miguel asked her when he noticed how quiet she had become.

"Yeah, I'm good," Gemma replied.

"Uhm.. about Jane showing up at the party, I wasn't the one who invited her, I just got to find out that she is Mr Frank's wife's cousin. She was the one who had invited her."

Gemma forced a smile. "It's fine. I know you didn't invite her."

She felt a slight pain in her lower abdomen and she winced.

"Are you sure you are all right?" Miguel asked as he looked at her again. "Is something wrong?"

"Yeah, just a little stomach upset."

"Sorry, would you like me to stop at the pharmacy so we could get you something for it?"
