Cars upon cars arrived at the Mayflower Hotel grounds. The photographers were placed at the entrance to capture their beautiful and honorable guests. Ranging from the most expensive cars, and designers gown and tuxedos, the party itself was a history and dream one can hope for.
Lights flash every few seconds, with guest posing and showcasing their glamorous gowns. Socialites lifted their heads high while their hands hooked on the arms of the gentlemen accompanying them.
Every guest mingled with each other, talking politics, economics, business, and whatever their heart desired. Each of them fought to get connections by introducing themselves to everyone they knew will benefit them. This is why Roman is guarded by his bodyguards and Arthur, which keeps people away from communicating with him. He does not like to talk business at the moment like this.
The Henson arrived clad in their gowns and tuxedo, entering the venue, Arianna's eyes wandering looking for the famous producer partaking in the audition she will be joining.
Her eyes landed on Roman, that is currently talking to the Hale heir, Cody, and Logan Kent.
She knew approaching him would result in humiliation. Therefore she keeps a mental note to come to a place most likely to be discreet.
Logan noticed the arrival of the Henson, and his eyes were looking for Clarissa, thinking he could glance at her from afar. The desperation of longing in his eyes did not go unnoticed by Roman. Upon turning his head to see the directions of, Logan's eyes fixated excessively; Natalie arrived from the staircase like a princess donning the most beautiful white dress.

Her dress is flowy, covered in diamonds, with the flowy dress style blanketing her baby bump. Her hair is styled to have a few loose curls, like a princess from heaven. Her appearance caught everyone in awe; They admired her gown and herself. She looks mesmerizing.
There is no fire or excitement in Logan's eyes when he catches a glimpse of Natalie. However, Wilma slowly looms over him from the back and reminds him to play along for the sake of everyone.

For a few seconds, Luke and Wilma Kent exchanged glances for an understanding of 'Get it done. These small interactions did not go unnoticed by Roman, who was inherently attentive. Arianna, on the other hand, does not feel a slight interest in the wedding but only in what she seeks. She wanted to be noticed before her audition, so she made an excuse to leave her mother and walk around to be near the producer.
"Arianna Henson!" a voice behind her spoke of her name with disdain.
She knew the voice belonged to Keisha Hale, a cousin of Cody Hale.
Her sworn enemy. Keisha is also starting to show an interest in show biz, making Arianna annoyed since she knew Hale would use their connections to get Keisha the role in any dramas or movies without auditioning.
She turned smiling and greeted Keisha; a few other socialites accompanied her, smirking and rolling their eyes.
"Where is the vixen daughter?" Keisha curls her lips.
Everyone might never see or hardly see Clarissa Henson. However, everyone knows she is the mortification of the Henson family. Especially Felicia Henson.
Arianna remains silent, timid like a little mouse. She knew well just to let herself be ridiculed by the powerful family. Clarissa's subject will remain taboo for the rest of their life.
"Cat got your tongue?" earning laughter from everyone around them. They eavesdrop because everyone knows how vicious Keisha can be. She is the spoiled daughter of Hale and the only girl. In the family with Hale as a surname.
No one dared to cross her; she also had her eyes set on Roman for a long time; Hale had proposed marriage, and every time, the Knights politely refused it.
That is all she needed to say to Arianna to entice everyone to talk about the Henson for the entire night. No one associated themselves with them, and this has invited irritation inside Arianna. The producer she wanted to get acquainted too also now nowhere to be found.
Instead of condemning Keisha, Arianna contemplates all her bitterness about Clarissa's existence and wants her to pay.
Luke saw Arianna had been mocked. He remained silent, he had his fair share of secrets, and he did not need another headache. Getting rid of Clarissa remains his chore that he has yet to deliver. Kent has constantly sent him warnings to get it done. Yet he tried dragging the matter since he had no courage to harm her. He had inflicted enough despair on her and thought that should be sufficient.
The kent wants more, and this time blood. They wanted her gone; they worried Logan would come crawling and looking for her when she was alive.
Seeing Arianna fuming, he worried Kent would use her to achieve their goal, so he rushed to her and grabbed her by the arm to take her outside.
"Don't be too obvious, sister," he said as they walked out to the grand majestic balcony outside the hotel banquet.
"did you not hear what Keisha Hale said?? This is all that bitch fault," she raised her voice in protest.
"Keep your voice down, and you listen to me carefully...Do not show your hatred on Clarissa; you can do it in private but do not show it in public," he warned her by grabbing her chin. The pain radiated to her jaw, and she shoved his hand away from her.
"Why?? Is she your beloved sister now? Since you guys went for a trip together three months ago?" She retorted.
"Do not, Arianna...sigh..you are my sister that I adore, believe me when I said this, do not let your anger be exploited, it's a burden you wish you never had," he left her that, still massaging her jaw from his clutch.
His word baffled her; nonetheless, the hatred she had already accumulated for so long, and it wasn't easy to diminish it. She will make her pay for it. Even when she was not here, she was still a pest.
"Hello, Ms. Henson.."
A gentleman moved toward Arianna, still thinking about what to do with Clarissa.
She turned to see it was Williams kent personal assistant.
"Hello..." she said.
"I heard you are interested in auditioning for the new blockbuster movie?"
"Yes I do..but maybe Keisha Hale will get it." feeling sour.
"Well you never know; you are beautiful and talented; how about I bring you to meet Mr. And Mrs. Kent? They have a preposition to make for you."
Edwin Hamilton then led the way for Arianna, and his smile turned sinister.
