Stefan stood in front of the castle, his emerald eyes glistening softly, and he inhaled the cold wind, which cooled the fire in his heart that was still burning lightly.

His mind was replaying the moment Ashton unexpectedly kissed him, and it wasn't the first time the demon prince had come this close to him.

Stefan wasn't sure what to think... did he like it?

Hearing the sounds of horses, he looked around to see a carriage approaching him.

He took a step back, and the carriage came to a complete stop. The guard jumped down, bowed his head at him, and opened the carriage door.

The guard assisted Isabella out of the carriage, and Isabella looked at Stefan with interest before bowing her head.

"Hello there, Lord Stefan," she said as she elegantly extended her hand towards him, which he held and lightly kissed.

Isabella laughed, and Mirabella, who was exiting the carriage behind her, rolled her eyes at her flirtatious sister.
