Ferdinand picked it up late. It was because of him. He was elated by it and gave her a forehead kiss.

'That feels nice.' Arabella couldn't help but smile. She gave him a peck on the cheek in return.

"Then, Ferdinand, let's go eat first. Shall we?" Arabella invited for the nth time since if they were going to sleep together tonight, she knew she needed food to boost her stamina.

But Ferdinand didn't look like he could be convinced otherwise. His arm was still around her waist and was not giving their body any space. She needed to give him a valid reason for delaying their intimate time.

Arabella smirked as she suddenly wanted to tease Ferdinand a bit, so she added, "I was very busy you know. I had been working all day and I think I deserve a meal."
