Ferdinand panicked as his thoughts slipped from his mouth before he was ready to say them.

[She's not saying anything! What if she thought I just came here to be intimate with her and not really to discuss her travel plans?! Ah, but it's also true I badly wanted to see her so I thought of using this excuse to come and see her. But it's not like I planned to do anything. I just wanted to be with her.]

Ferdinand was reasoning with himself.

Meanwhile, Arabella was worried about something else.

Arabella gulped nervously.
