For players, fighting against the alien bugs was far from easy; it could even be described as extremely tricky.
The reason lay in one of the alien bugs' particularly sneaky and enduring unit types—the Suicide Bats.
They were completely black and had wings like bats, capable of flying both in space and within atmospheres. Their method of combat was very straightforward: they charged and self-destructed upon impact.
Moreover, Suicide Bats were very small, so small that they barely showed up on radar. This was normal, just as regular radars could detect passenger planes and fighters, but not drones—the latter were simply too tiny.
Some might ask, aren't suicide units easy to deal with? Just shoot them and they'll blow up en masse.
That's the thinking of someone who's played too many games.
The alien bugs weren't stupid!
