Learning from his past experience of being swarmed by common people during his visit to Radiance, Max decided that he would very modestly approach the guild grounds from the teleportation centre by covering his entire body with a hooded robe. 

He had mulled over the decision to get involved in this matter a lot of times, since this was not in-line with his personal goals and even if he did win this battle there was nothing substantial for him to gain out of this. 

In the end, he decided to come anyway because even if this was not a project that could bring him personal benefit, it was something that he had to do for his pride as a human from Earth and as a Rajput.
