Luca turned towards Felix when there was no response from him. “Did you know that Jennet is married? She told me that news last night.”

“…”

Luca groaned on the couch as he leaned back. “Felix, say something please…” He sounded as if he was about to sob.

Felix gave him an endless stare. Then, he spoke, “I have no idea about that. But, since that’s the case, it is best if you can forget all about her because to have an affair with a married woman is an improper act.”

Luca sighed. “Well, thank you for the advice. That’s good thinking. But, I still need to make sure she is telling me the truth. I don’t want to be lied to. You knew so well that she is the woman of my dream and I won’t let the chance escape me just because of a single lie. However, if she is, indeed, telling the truth, then, I will stop having hope to have a life with her.”

“Luca, on the bright side, we can start looking for the woman with those jade-blue eyes,” Felix suggested a solution.
