บท 45: Chapter 45

“Nope. He is a full-time house-husband. I’m the only one working in this family,” Jennet answered casually. After a while, she was surprised at herself for admitting that they were family. What had gotten into her head?! Urghh!

“Hmm, that’s new,” Belle stuck out her lower lip in acknowledgement. “But, why is he not working?” she wondered and, fine lines appeared between her nicely groomed brows.

“I doubt he can work properly with that kind of look,” Jennet replied. The incident from the mall and the supermarket came into mind. It was a disaster and very dangerous too!

“Why?” Belle was curious, “…are you jealous someone might snatch him from you?” A chuckle leapt out of her mouth.

“Gosh, no!” Jennet brushed it with a denial.

“Then, why do you sound like an overbearing jealous wife?” Belle poked on the subject again.

“It is the truth. He's a man with only a handsome face who knows nothing about working.”
